Mercedes-Benz has put advanced updated outside, inside, and under the hood of the new S-Class sedan just a few months ago. Now it is expected that the similar changes will be made to Coupe and Cabriolet models. On the opening day of the Frankfurt Auto Show, which is on September 12, both models will be presented to the public and they are most likely to reach the showrooms till 2018.

Although the changes are advanced, the visual transformation to non-AMG-badged models is a bit disappointment for the buyers. These visual changes are limited to new alloy wheel designs, the usual assortment of new paint colors, redesigned bumpers on both ends, standard OLED tail lights with a beautiful lighting signature, and new-look headlights. The interior of these models are benefiting the Mercedes’ Energizing Comfort technology. This technology improves the experience of the passengers by networking the car’s climate controls, ambient lighting, massage programs, seat heating, and music. The dual 12.3-inch screens are placed in the line of driver and are gives sleeker look than before.
In-car technology of the S-Class is being embraced by the audience. Command Navigation infotainment system of Mercedes’ new models is fully compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and both models provide wireless charging facilities. These models are available with a cruise-control-on-steroids, which makes them able to adjust the speed ahead of roundabouts, intersections, and curves. The new twin-turbocharged base engine deliver 463 horsepower between 5,250 and 5,500 rpm and is a 4.0-liter V8 tuned. It provides 516 pound-feet of torque from 2,000 to 4,000 rpm.
