If it is from Google, you can be rest assured of the quality of it. The technology giant holds pole position in many sectors and now, it has come to the rescue of job seekers across the world, adding a job search tab to its desktop and mobile search tools. With Google’s jobs search option, freshers as well as experienced job candidates will be able to search through all of the leading job portals, such as LinkedIn, Monster, DirectEmployers, WayUp, CareerBuilder, Facebook, and Naukri.
Google will also be presenting a jobs listing for you on your mobile and desktop’s chrome browser, aiming to rectify the hassles of browsing through multiple job websites, which often ends up at wasting time at duplicate and irrelevant jobs.
The Job Search Tab on Google Shows on Relevant Keywords
Typically, Google’s search engine offers tools such as All, Maps, News, Images, and Videos. The job search widget has not been included among these popular tabs but will appear once you make a relevant keyword search, such as jobs near me, civil engineering jobs, and disc jockey openings. Once there, you will be able to refine your query, modify results for latest or most recent and based on location. Job seekers will also be able to filter based on industry, see company ratings, and get personalized job notifications.
AI to Remove Duplicate Job Listings and Understand Candidate’s Preferences
HR teams of numerous companies and job consultancy services post same job opening on multiple online portals, but Google job search will not only provide a respite from repeated job postings but also use its machine-learning algorithms to categorize them. Once you find a job opening of your liking, Google will redirect you to the original application process.
It must be noted that Google itself are not starting a job search portal, but merely refining and sorting jobs posted on the biggest to the smallest of job portals.
