Coca-Cola Co. Striving Hard for Consumer Satisfaction

Recent ongoing in the world include a news that Coca-Cola Co. is changing the name of Coke Zero to Coke Zero Sugar. The reason of this change is name is so that the consumers would come to know that the beverage has no sugar. Also, the taste of Coke Zero Sugar will be like the regular Coke unlike Coke Zero. According to the company, Coke Zero Sugar would contain the same artificial sweeteners. The Coca-Cola Co. based in Atlanta said that the new Coke Zero Sugar’s bottles and cans with more red color like the regular Coke will be in the market by August.

Coca-Cola Co. hopes consumers would love Coke Zero Sugar

Controversial statements in the social media and passing humor regarding stockpiling Coke Zero was observed. The Coca-Cola Co. was also asked to reconsider the whole project. However, the social media team of Coca-Cola responded saying that they are hoping the consumers would be loving the new Coke Zero Sugar. The notion of Coke Zero had come to life when it was observed that American people were seeming to move away from 1980’s Diet Coke which has its own taste which is different from the regular Coke. Coke Zero was thus introduced in the year 2005 which tastes a little like the regular Coke.

In the past, decline of Diet Coke was blamed on the ingredient aspartame by Coca-Cola. However, Coke Zero contains the same ingredient and was not declined in terms of growth. According to the CEO of Coca-Cola, James Quincey, it is surprisingly true that people did not always understand that both Diet Coke and Coke Zero contain no sugar.
